Anyone that watched the game have any input on the defense?

Was pretty good Middle of the game, but Early and Late they got some easy shots off. They had 19 points with 13 mins left in the first half when we went on a huge run and they had a drought.
Few takeaways for me getting to really lay eyes on them for the first time in person:
- Was good to see some press mixed in. I liked that sometimes it was a token man, sometimes it was more of a trap. Mixing it up i think is what we have all be calling for.
- Down side with the trap, is anytime the ball went to the middle there was some confusion. Three guys grouped together in the middle of the floor allowing for the outside pass for an easy beat. I think we have the athleticism to execute a press but it needs work. With our length against that team, we should have forced a ton of turnovers and we didn't with it.
- M2M D. Still needs work. Tough to say because we were so much bigger and stronger, but i'm looking at the fundamental pieces of it. Starting out the game we were terrible on the screen. It resulted in some easy looks for them and they knocked them down. Coach said we were switching on the screen in the postgame. What i saw initially was a whole lot of confusion. Some were hedging, some trying to switch, and a whole lot of running right into the screen which should never be an option. We seemed to get better with that as the game progressed. But something to watch.
-Dodd is going to be a beast. I fully recognize we were just able to bully a much smaller team. That said, I Can't remember in my 19 years around the program a kid that had both his athleticism and strength as a freshman. He is super strong for a freeshman.
- How about Jenkins?!?!? that was fun to watch
