First meeting between the 2 programs. Seems like a solid team with D1 wins against Samford, UMD Eastern Shore, & @ Presbyterian. Their 2 losses on the season were to Mizzou & Butler.

This will be a tough matchup and we will need to be ready to play. Stats wise, Their guard is one of the tops in the country in steals. Over the 1st 6 games, as a team, they have been very good at keeping opponents 3-point shooting in check.

The game plan is a broken record- Defend, don't turn the ball over, get Andy and Nate good looks around the hoop.

I know the biggest game is always the "next one" but I want to see how our team bounces back from back to back losses on a long road trip. Hopefully the friendly confines buoy them.

I'll also be watching to see how they bounce back, after a rough game. This is the level of team that we need to be able to beat regularly (especially on our home court), if we are indeed moving the program forward, and this game should show, to some degree, how well we are moving in that direction.

Hoping to see the Twin Towers stay down low and work a little more inside than they have done recently.

Having 2 talented big men that can be on the court together is a luxury that should put stress on a defense, particularly outside of the power teams. It is our cake.

The fact that both can play outside adds to this stress and is our icing.

As we bake the game strategy we should remember that the formula should be significantly more cake than icing.

The broken record is right. Our winning formula is obvious this year. Let’s execute and get it done!

We will definitely be able to utilize our size advantage in this game. Morehead St was picked middle of the pack in the Ohio Valley. Has played pretty well thus far.

Unusual 7:30 pm start, as opposed to our standard 7 pm. Can only think that must have been a Morehead State accommodation. Can't imagine Cox Yurview swayed it.

It was because of the planned double-header. Women's game starts at 5:00 PM.

It's the second game of a doubleheader. The women play at 5:00.

I like that analogy. Plus, now I'm hungry.

Think this will be a better home game than any of us gave credit for before the season started.

Need this win as seven of the next nine games are on the road, including tough road games at Buffalo, St. Joe's and three consecutive CAA road games to open season at Elon, Hofstra and Northeastern,

We will do well to have a .500 record by the end of all that. You just can't expect to win most tough road games.

Tribe a 6.5 favorite for tonight's game.

Thornton Scott still out. Hamilton will start tonight.

Impressed with Dane's pregame comments that they were not in the right mindset against Stanford and his continued stress of their focus regardless of distractions/circumstances. Results will tell tonight if back to business, especially on defense. Lighter crowd here, as to be expected. Go Tribe!

MSU has gone to the lane for 4 easy buckets. Need to tighten up inside.

Start leaves a lot to be desired. Morehead guards are getting in the lane with little help. We've given up offensive rebounds. 1st two interior shots from our bigs were high difficulty fading shots.
