Can’t make only 1 three pointer and miss a million free throws and expect to compete on the road against good teams. We were due for a dud. Hopefully we bounce back on Tuesday.

I think the rotation needs to shrink a bit. Barnes should get most of the PG minutes over Spottsville, and Dillard and Binelli (hopefully) gets some of Morgan/Groce’s minutes. We don’t have enough size on the wings.

That was a rough one.

UC Irvine was BY FAR the best team the Eagles have seen this season. They lost a considerable amount from their tournament team, but they had the combination of athletes and basketball IQ that none of our D1 wins so far have had.

Chance to see if we're the real deal or not on Tuesday. Hope we bring our A-game (or at least a game better than what we watched tonight).

Tonight we looked like a JUCO/transfer team! Couldn't shoot the ball from the outside, or at the foul line! UCI looked like A D1 team........Barnes played well!

I hope they didn't "rush" Binelli important that he will ready for conference play . Up until this game we played solid team oriented basketball looks like we slipped into bad habits last night. Up to Murphy and staff to get them back to the basics. 30% from the field, 57% from the charity stripe and 16% for 3's doesn't cut in any game. We also had only 4 steals.

Gonna be a looooooong season.
