A few weeks ago he mentioned bringing the hill closer and at some point putting seats across it when we have the money. We really need to increase our fund raising to get this stadium to where it could be.

He also said he wants KBS to be the best 30,000 seat stadium in the nation

Yeah, the turf replacement was recently approved by the Board of Trustees. The new turf will also cover where the track is. The hope is for the new T&F facility to be ready by spring 2021.

Wish there was a good rendering of this online.

This has been needed for a while . The hill is nice but it’s a crap hole to ask people to sit on. I hope they do it right and move it closer with bowled searing and a pavilion area above.

What all needs to be done that isn't already in the works?

If Gillin wants KBS to be the best 30K SEAT stadium in the country I'm eager to see his plan. Because we'll need to add another 6850 seats. The hill is going to be substantially smaller and a portion of it will be taken up by 500 seats for the BOD. The NEZ project will only add about 1,000 premium seats increasing seating, not capacity, to only 23,150.

The pictures posted to Yosef's Cabin should be linked here. Those show the real size of the building relative to the ground and close to field level rather than the top of the stands.

Hopefully the hill will be turf as well. With a more gradual slope, it could hold a good many more fans.

I've never had the desire to sit on a steep muddy grassy hill...but some people love it.

Fellow App grads who make their product in Boone (started in Denver). No more muddy butt at App games for me when watching on the hill (which i actually prefer). We have the New Mexico print and love it.

Most of their prints are hippy/festival based, but he promises me he's working on getting licensing to make an App tarpestry, which is a market i think they would do quite well in.

I prefer this. Especially with the seats above it. Right colors too.
