Speaking of offense, what happened to our 3 point shooting? In the two games this weekend we were 4-28 from 3 for 14%! In games outside of Trask including the Davidson game we are shooting 23% for the season.

With our lack of size inside having adequate 3 pt shooting is a must.

The improvement in defense should be applauded. But the 3pt shooting as noted here is a major concern. Our best 3pt shooters in order are Sims, Estime and Tolefree (45%/37%/35%). If we are going to continue to play 4 out 1 in then we can't afford a 4-28 weekend. We are not going to be playing many more shite teams after this next game. Gadsen and Estime in the lineup will help a lot. Let's face it. Linssen & Dodd will not be able to have their way in the paint vs CAA's best teams.

On another note. Didn't anyone notice that our 'switching' of ball screens or 'hard hedge' disappeared? That was killing us! Now we are chasing the ball handler and the big is staying under (NBA Pick Defense). This kind of 'intelligent' adjustment is what has been lacking. Nice to see.

CB said before the season started they were no longer going to play a switching M2M.

But they did and got caught out versus CSU.

Yes, and I don't know why he waited. Unless maybe he didn't feel they were quite ready to start the season. It does appear that CB has trouble with making changes.

Just having fun with you, 33.

It's like he went to the Church of Roy Williams Seminary, and he feels like changing a game plan is like changing the King James Bible!

Thankfully he just showed that he can adjust. Coach should be commended and congratulated for having made intelligent adjustments that resulted in a tough victory.

Can't argue with any of that.

Can't argue with the number y'all! Let's see how we do in the next few games defensively.

Good to see we can compete with such poor 3 ball %. It could be that guys were busting it hard and didn't have legs. Who know's? I do like some of the chemistry that is developing on this team and they are so young too!

I don't know if Marty will have his way in the CAA, but if we are intentional in getting him the ball when he posts up, he has shown he can finish against size. That was a huge concern for me coming into the season. I think he can be a 10/6 guy consistently, with a few break out games like yesterday every once in awhile. And with the way he shoots ft's, he could be a go to guy at the end of close games. To me, he's been the biggest surprise this season.

Our guards have got to get their act together at the FT line. Sims and Phillips each at .654, Okauru and Estime' .500. Meanwhile, Linssen is hitting at .900, Boggs .754 and Dodd .545
