First of it's DeKalb, so it should be DeKalbers. Second, why couldn't it be "official" ala the NIU website schedule where it listed Northern Iowa as "All-Area Educator + NIU Faculty/Staff Appeciation Day", or versus Coppin "Military and First Responder Appreciation", or Rockford as "Camper Reunion."
Is this or is this not something the marketing people are doing? Either way, how is anyone supposed to know its "DeKalbers pack the house night"? No mention of this anywhere I can find.

Not that this type of thing makes a team good or bad, but watching this team so far, it really seems to me there is good cohesion among the players and that they all really get along and pull for each other.

Best stat of the night to me, Lancers miss 41 shots but only manage 8 offensive boards, Huskies miss 33 shots but get 13 offensive boards

The defense and rebounding has been pretty damn good all year, sans maybe the second half in Ames.

It’s just can they find enough offense.

Those defensive metrics vs Longwood are off the charts, will be interesting to see if they can keep this up. NIU and Akron might play a 35-31 game this year
