Actually, I'd rather see the SEC stay as part of the NCAA if the NCAA would make some major changes in the way it conducts business. The way the NCAA does things currently is a joke, and everyone knows it!! Plus, why do you think so many of the G5 concentrate on basketball?? Isn't it because they know they can't compete in football?? What if they could compete in football??? Food for thought.
Upon further thought, I do believe that there needs to be a NCAA Division Zero. This would have all of FBS, the BE, the WCC, the A10, the Missouri Valley, the Horizon, Patriot, and Ivy Leagues

But it is only 14 autobids. Right now in the 68 team format we have 32 autobids and 36 at-large. With 14 leagues you can go back to the 64 format that fits the office pool so much better and have 14 at-bids and 50 at-large.
God help the power school coach who misses the tournament two year in a row.
