I think that score prediction is wishful thinking. Western will be a tough out, even with it being Sr day & all.

This will definitely not be a blowout.

I’ll say USM will win in a close one....21-17

It'll be a good game for 3 quarters. Eagles pull away in the 4th though. WKU is averaging about 22 points per CUSA contest. I think we hold them to around that avg.

They just had a bye week after beating Arkansas. We just got back in the West race. Both teams will be amped.

WKU has been surprising folks all year. I think they steal this one

I would be surprised if we got blown out but not sure we will come out of there with a win...Anxious to see if the offense can pick up where it left off vs. Arkansas..

First team to score 21 points wins this game. I'd be a lot worried if it was in Bowling Green. I feel pretty good knowing it's in Hattiesburg.

This will mark the first time to see WKU play in person. I'm looking forward to seeing the Toppers. Be sure to be at the Eagle walk. I've been to a lot of stadiums and our Eagle walk is up there with the best.

I hope our guy remember the last few time we teed it up with WKU and are ready to play. We need to approach this like they stole something. WKU has done exactly what I predicted they would do when the season started and that was to surprise the so called experts that had them falling off the map after the first game. This is a little different type of WKU team than years before being that they play defense and are sound in their schemes.
We need to play at a high level and we win period.

It’s been fun to watch our team grow. That 1st game was definitely an “uh oh” game, but the team has responded well since. The defense has played very well for the most part. Storey has been very steady.

This game will come down to two things...other than turnovers.

1. Getting pressure on Jack Abraham and not let him pick the Western defense apart. While the Western defense has played better than I expected. QB's that can make throws have been a problem. It's going to come down to if Western can control the pick, pick , pick...pop passing of USM.

2. Does the Western play call go back to the run when it's not working or do they use the short passing game as they did vs Ark to move the ball. Then work the edge on runs. One other thing on offense, 4th and short. Without 4th down plays that Ark game might have turned out different. I dont think Western scores over 21 points in that game.

Other words does the play calling show confidence in letting Storey win this game for Western on the short game and the 4 downs to get 10 yards. This will be the game for a coaching statement that the offense is not a one hit wonder. If it goes back to the no confidence and trying to use trick plays to score...

I see a USM win by 10 or more

USM should be fired up and ready for this game since it’s the first appearance for WKU at the USM campus. It will be a battle for sure, if WKU has no turnovers I believe WKU wins..... 1 turnover and it’s a 50/50 game..... 2 or more and USM walks away
