Some realllllll classy folks in Ohio.
Yea, the Toledo late hit isn't front page news anymore after the Cleveland guy swung the helmet at the QB. Talk about out of control.

Garrett Myles (the Browns player from last night) is from Texas. Just because he plays in the NFL for an Ohio team, don't lump him up as someone from Ohio.
And for that matter, Terrance Taylor (the UT player from Wednesday night) is originally from Chicago, IL.

What about the fan who punched Garrett in the face? Where's he from?
Did you mean Myles Garrett?

RE: Late Hit
Myles Garrett......Garrett Myles.......same thing. Seriously though, thanks for the correction. Must have been tired and typing quickly.
As for the sucker punch, I'm guessing your talking about the claim about the "fake Browns fan" that punched him when he asked Garrett for a picture. The whole thing seems really weird. But I doubt there's a state in the county that hasn't had someone punch another person in the face because they didn't like them or whatever else.

RE: Late Hit
The cheap shot on Bowers is being resurrected, at least in one Nov. 18th article, which includes a link to sign a petition to kick Taylor off the Toledo team.

Let's be clear; the disciplinary suspension of Taylor is for a half a game. No, I don't think that is enough, but I also don't think he should be kicked off the team. BTW, the petition only had 4 signatures. And I agree that Candle did not handle this properly. This is all I have seen from Candle: "We are disappointed this play occurred," "It's not something we coach. We'll use it as a teaching tool for our team on the value of discipline in emotional times."

As I said in another thread, when AJD did the eye-gouge on Penny there was a public apology by Carey, AJD personally apologized to Penny, and AJD was suspended for one game. The above is all I have seen from Candle; no apology by Taylor or Candle that I have seen. I am disappointed the MAC or NCAA did not step in and increase Taylor's suspension.
I know Bower's mom said he is OK in a tweet. I hope he is, especially since he just came back from a concussion in the Miami (OH) game.
BTW; coaches, stop running Bowers! I get it; the D doesn't expect Bowers to run, but he just is not a running QB and all that happens is you are getting him hurt!

I was surprised that Bowers remained in the game. Kid is tough, but there's no way he didn't receive some kind od injury from the hit. It was hard, vicious, and unexpected.
