2020 AAC Football Scheduling
So...has anyone added a 12th game for 2020 yet? Should we be working on this?

Adding?

We are all playing 8 conference games. 4 ooc games. UConn leaving doesn't change that.

I think he’s referring to those of us that had UConn on the schedule for next year (east division, Tulane, Houston & Navy) need to get an 8th conference game.

Won't they just shuffle the schedule with two protected opponents?

Good thought. You should email the ECU AD to alert them. I don't often recommend this, but you might even consider marking the message urgent.

Oh yeah. I guess that would kick off in 2020. Was looking at FBSchedules and it still had the 7 already scheduled (with dates tbd) conference opponents and the 4 OOC. All that will change I guess.

So that's a little news to look forward to. I wonder if they'll use the existing matchups to whatever extent possible, given that we're at a mid-point year with cross-division matchups, to create the new schedule.

In other words, I wonder if they will just take the 7 games we have slated and add 1 next year to keep the return games in play, vs. re-doing the whole thing. UConn's slate obviously doesn't distribute evenly, so there would have to be some finagling.

Example: I wonder if Tulsa will have Cincy, @UCF, and ECU from the former East on the schedule in 2020.

Add a G5 game and drive up the conf win rate. Then add a 12th school and act like a normal conference again.

I miss Jeff Compher. He could have gotten us a sweet home and home with the Alabama Technical School of Toaster Repair and Palm Reading.

UCF don't want none of Tulsa.
