Tell me again, what bowl games we were predicted to be in prior to the NIU game. Tell me again how we would WIN OUT before the NIU game. Tell me again how we would be champions of the MAC West. More likely we will lose the next two games,l LOSE OUT and finish with a record of 6 wins and 6 loses, no bowl game and no championship. I get it. I will, sadly, now get on the fire Candle and his staff bandwagon. What a wreck this season has become after such lofty expectations in August. A coaching change seems to be required. Perhaps we could revisit those posts that suggested possible replacements for a staff that appears to be not good enough. Will MOB have the gonads to explore new directions for the football staff? I hate to say that the defense sucks but that appears to be the case. That falls on the DC. The offense is predictable and that falls on the OC. We appear to have the talent to be more than adequate in the MAC. Now it appears to be the time to acquire the effective coaching that the players deserve. I will purchase season tickets for next season and pay my Rocket Fund dues but I hope changes will be made. Enough ranting, but the way this season has gone makes me sick.

I never condone firing anyone just because we are all PO'd, but, it's time to clean house. We need to get the $$ to hire a big name coach not named Urban Meyer... I agree with this author. + 1 for me. I listened to the NIU Coaches last night. They were all fired up during Pre-game. Our coaches are never as fired up as I observed NIU Coaches last night. I've sat through the years when we won 2-3 games. I don't want to do that again. I do not understand how these problems are not overwhelmingly obvious to Candle when all of us laypersons seem to know. He can't be that oblivious.
