Hey 10Man and NewpaperRebel, thanks for getting me off of FansONly. I was getting hammered by the Little 12 (you know texass, OUseless, the Tex A&M Faggies, etc.) But I stood my ground defending the SEC to the death, but it's going to be great getting into some good ole smack with my SEC brothers. Thanks again for bringing me in.

You're welcome, bro, and good to have you here. Wish I would've thought to invite you sooner(no pun intended there for OU).
Welcome aboard, and post away!

I love the picture of your stadium. It looks a lot like Arkansas', but we are enclosed all the way around with a huge jumbo tron at the North endzone. The next time Ole Miss comes to Fayetteville, you need to come. Arkansas has a ton of very friendly folks and the campus and surrounding area is beautiful. Stay in touch. I'm sure as football season arrives, we're all gonna have a great time on this board.

Yep, and if I know you we will have some fun come football season....::wink wink::
And I tried to come to the Ark-OM game this past season in F'Ville, but could not make it. It was one of the very few away games I did miss. Seeing how it turned out for the Rebs, I'm glad I didn't make it.
But, I will try again in '04.
Thanks for the comp on my sig pic. I came across this one day surfing around and had to have it in my sig. The far endzone, in the pic, is the new one....the one that was being built the last time the Hogs came to Oxford. I'll never forget that day....whew! Don't even want to think about it either. Longest single day of my life.

7 overtimes will be hard to beat. I believe that game has pushed the Ole Miss/Arkansas rivalry up a notch. Regarding Ole Miss football, Eli Manning is back isn't he? He's got a professional arm and the height needed for the next level. Has he ever beaten Arkansas?

No, you wise-arse, you know Eli hasn't beaten your Hogies....YET! Just playing, but you know who has beaten them? That's right, none other than Romaro Miller himself....
As for your other questions.....Yes, Eli is most definitely back for one more go at it, and I agree that that 7OT game did wonders for our rivalry. I know the Arkansas game is one that I've circled on my schedule this season.
Payback time!

Thanks for reminding me of Romaro Miller! Ouch! He indeed had the Hog's number. Eli will really want the Arkansas game. He probably won't think about it much until the week of Arkansas preps, but we can be sure, he will be at his best. I again reiterate that the Ark/Ole Miss rivalry does have a chance to really take off the next few years, but we'll never be able to hit an Ole Miss nerve like Miss St. I'm really learning to hate Tennessee and LSU, though I love beating Ole Miss (out of respect for your program) and I adore beating Jackie Sherrill simply because he is an arse!

Razback, brother, we have more in common than you think! I couldn't even begin to describe the magnitude of loathing I have for UT. Respect them? Absolutely, but loathe them anyway. And LSU? Well, that's just a given.
Hopefully, Eli will get the Hog off his back this year, in a manner of speaking.

What do you say we try for 8 overtimes? I aged 20 years during that 7 OT marathon! If we both have winning records up to that point, it could be a national TV game. Let's hope so!

Umm, thanks but no thanks. I'll take a regular ole 4 quarters with a comfortable score of OM-31 AR-24, or something like that.

My email has been down for a week. But I agree, I like 4 quarter games much more. We lost an overtimer to Tennessee last year. I guess what goes around comes around. See you in Oxford for as Ark/Ole Miss war!
