I would rather judge players on what they do and not what some sports writer votes. Were those the same people that didnt give Trey MVP?

Unless we are recruiting a very good big, they arent playing much next year barring injuries. 1 position posting those numbers is really good but people dont pay attention to thinks like pace.

What some people evidently don't pay attention to is that we can't just expect that the team won't have injuries (or illness, or Covid, or foul trouble, or ejection from the game by the referee, or something else like breaking team rules) and be unavailable. In the very recent past, ODU has had several less than stellar big men that had to play due to one or more of the above reasons. Remember walk on Vassor starting all three games in the tournament in Connecticut for example?

I love ODU hoops, but even I can admit when we don't get someone we were after and also admit it hurts and is frustrating. I used to be an apologist, but I ain't no more. I'll continue to hope they have a VCU-type run (maybe just win an NCAA game), but I'm also done holding my breath.

I thin k we are all there to a degree. We would all love a team full of all the recruits we want/need. But the continual bitching and moaning about the coach isn't going to change a thing. Unless JJ falls down the stairs or goes 5-25 on the season, he is here for this season and possibly several more. Support the team and coaches we have to the best of your (plural, not specifically you) abilities.

I know it's been since the end of the 2019-2020 season since I have been in the Ted, can I still call it that, but was in there last night and was somewhat surprised to see a Starbucks in there. How long has that been operational? Just wondering.
