Also, and as I have noted many times, I strongly favor the BE adding a 12th program and my top choice is likely Saint Louis.

Yes, the round robin remains and will be 20 games. There's going to be some very strong OOC schedules all around with Gavitt games, B12 challenge, exempt tourney's, etc.

Going to be brutal.... 24-25 tough games, and that's before stuff like Marquette/Wisconsin.

Good to know. I'll get on board with it. The positives should outweigh the negatives.

Use the big-time schedule as a recruiting tool (which BE schools already are doing, I'm sure). Bring on the brutality.

I'm not inherently opposed to adding another team or three, but you just have to wait until the next round of TV negotiations before seriously discussing it. Gotta get your media partner's input and you never know what might happen in the middle of the decade, so you want to stay flexible.

Agree fully. But I do think the addition of a 12th program (which I want) will happen (for various reasons).

Maybe my VU Commodores will be even more unlucky next season and go from one key starter injured in 2018-19 to two key starters hurt in 2019-20 to three starters injured in 2020-21.

Sorry for the cynicism, gents. Has been a rough two seasons.

Just for the sake of having something to talk about. Decent local CUSA program.

Locking in attractive slates through the conference schedule and the challenges is looking better and better (obvious caveat that everything is in flux for the time being and next year might not happen).

Gavitt Games, BE/Big 12 Challenge, BE Conference Schedule (x20) >
Top-4 AAC v. Bottom-4 SEC, AAC Conference Schedule (x18)

Interesting. So UConn is not in either the Big East/Big 12 Battle, or the Gavitt Games.

RE: Future schedules
normally this would be problematic but given most will be done with exams pre-Thanksgiving, not as big of an issue(outside of no fans on campus)

one thing interesting to think about- those guys that are eligible after 1st semester may get a lot more games than normal this year.
