North Texas to Build a New $3 Million Golf Facility
UNT will be building a new $3 million golf practice facility, to be named after a long time booster who donated $1.5 million towards the project. The facility will include, hitting bays, putting greens, club house, and coaches offices. The new facility will be located at the Mean Green Village near Apogee Stadium. The project is scheduled to be completed by August 2021.

Coincidence? but I’m also building a golf practice facility with a budget between $2.00 and $3,000,000.00

We should come in near the lower end of that budget range.

Anyway, I hope you guys have some Nice Fairways to balance out your Mean Greens.

WKU just opened an indoor golf facility in October. Named after our former coach who was killed last year while cycling.

While I'm an absolutely terrible golfer, I really love the sport and enjoy following our golfers. Glad to hear WKU opened a new facility. I had not heard that before. Please post some pics if you have any. Thanks.

AA hubs! We can work you out a deal to fly your golf team into CLT (airport, not poster) and Top Golf so you can practice all you like. Have your AD call up Mike Hill.

probably for the first three holes, after the third hole, he'll probably toy with the idea of going to another golf course, then he will decide to continue to play at the current course, while hitting over par for the remaining holes... 05-stirthepot

That’s awesome! That is an entire practice facility, not just an indoor. Very nice! WKU’s is just an indoor complex. Has a few indoor bays with Trackman’s, a putting complex, locker rooms, lounge, etc.

Thanks. I thought it would have an outdoor aspect to it, but didn't think they were building this much.

The only negative to the outdoor practice space is that it eats up quite a bit of primo tailgating spots. But, it does explain why the new tailgating development is the next building project after the athletic center expansion/remodel is completed.
