But it wasn’t Cal.

Cal knows the group of lawyers we would use know where the bodies are buried.

I think we all know it was Cal.

I think you may be over reaching on this. According to UK fans, Calipari is a saint and the only coach in basketball that does not cheat to get players.

and I have some beachfront property for sale in Nebraska

Calipari: ‘Something needs to be done about people taking the best recruits away’

Enforcer: ‘wink’ Got it!

More like ‘check cashes’; Enforcer: Got it!

I guess Josh Pastner is a Memphis booster, right? Didn't he annually donate part of his salary back to the university?
Come to think of it, I think Cal donated some too.
So both coaches of other programs are boosters of Memphis, by the NCAA definition.
So if they get caught improperly inducing recruits to their current programs, and those players end up coming to Memphis, then we could get the violations.
It's lunacy.

Is it just me or does it seem that there is more to this story than is being made public.....The University under it’s current leadership has taken a very conservative approach to NCAA rules and regulations...( rightfully so)....Bilas’s commentary last night was 98% propaganda, but he did correctly state that the University’s decision to continue to play Wiseman was unprecedented....maybe the decision was based on more than just solid legal standing.....hmmmm

I've kinda been hoping the same thing. I sure hope they have an ace up their sleeves, but they did say they weren't going to play him before the TRO was granted.

They set up contradictory rules, enforce them arbitrarily, and force everyone involved to follow them no matter how absurd for so long that even questioning whether different outcomes are possible becomes seen as foolish. This is allowed to happen because most of their victims need employment or life-altering opportunities to nonetheless be exploited for their labor within the organization.

Wiseman doesn't need these arrogant fools any more than he needs them to get out the damn way. I hope they don't retaliate against us but it's worth it to see their grip keep slipping.

I agree and would only add, Penny doesn't need them either.

Bilas used every hole in the commentary of the game he could to talk about the Wiseman situation. He reminds me of the attitude of that jerk at CBS Seth Davis used to have about Memphis.

Bilas was much more supportive of Memphis in his interview with GP, than he was on the broadcast. He and Disney may have come to an agreement.
Robbie Hummel OTOH took shots on the broadcast last week, and has not backed down with his interview with J&J yesterday.
