UAA & UAF athletics "a go" for 2020-2021 season

I'm not sure how to interpret this article, if it means just through that year, because it sounds like they're planning on keeping both departments separate. Either way, fantastic news for both schools.

Hopefully more Western schools will add hockey programs so the Alaska schools can keep their programs going at the D-I level.

Sounds like they are here to stay, the line of not having to wait all summer again means atleast through all of next year.

Alaska Anchorage Seawolves were on ESPNU the other day hosting Coast Guard.

Fairbanks is having a good year in hockey, too. They're receiving votes in the USCHO polls, which is more than Minnesota or Michigan can say.
