I am just posting for the first time in over a week. Vacations away from work are always hard since I have dial-up at home :(

1) I have seen the new version of AST and I wish it the best. That change was long overdue - plus we shall see if the moderating help plus the new bells and whistles will save the site. I truly hope that Keven saw this board and others similar to it and decided it was finally time to do something, anything to get total control over there.

2) Welcome to the board new posters! Good to see Tay, SamuraiTater and Whaler, and others! I am glad the welcome wagon is still operating smoothly - thanks :)

3) Baseball. Both the Gamecocks and the Toronto Blue Jays did better with me asleep at the wheel. :)

4) Natche - thanks for your help! Plus, congrats to the moderator post and good luck with everything!

5) Coaching changes - BAMA has another coach already? What about Iowa St.?

Glad to find you guys Raptor. I have been working a lot of extra hours lately, so it took me a while to catch up. Hope the old gang will re-unite somewhere.

Man this is great. There are now five great forums to post on regarding Gamecock sports.

This place I hope will pick up soon. FGF and GN have always had much activity.

Now I have this place as well as Allsportstalk.

Finding this place as well as AST has been great. I don't know who you are Raptor but welcome back.

The Gamecock Baseball team has really been comming on strong as of late and I hope we can make the NCAA tourney. The SEC Tourney may be a lock because of the win over Bama Tonight.

But I really enjoy my two new favorite forums. I hope you guys can pick up the post count here because you really seem to have, even though small, good group of posters hea.

I just moved here from AST. I was howbouthemcocks. I didnt post alot but di read the board often. I dont like the new look. I think this forum looks alot better. In fact I have looked at this site a few times but decided to stay with Allsportstalk because I was use to the setup. Anyway I guess this will be my new home even though I do not post alot i often read the board to see whats going on.

I read the new policies list over at AST.

What do you guys who post over there think? Are these rules enough to weed out the bad seeds over there? Or do you think an "ignore" button is still necessary? I'd love to post on both this board and that one........but I'm still uncertain about AST's atmosphere. I may wait a bit and see how things go over there. It's an awfully slow time of the year for me, anyway! (Sorry, college baseball fans!)

The three strike policy might do the trick. However, if aliases are used by the same flamer - this means an unlimited amount of strikes. JMHO. The ignore button is my favorite option here - and should be implemented on ALL boards.

why are the gamecocks so thin skin??????????????????why not just make it an all sec and gamecock board.
