Sole UConn football fan, why do you think you all are so bad? My theory is that the vast income discrepancies in your state create soft rich kids and vastly underserved inner city kids whose schools dont have the resources for football programs. Which doesnt leave you any local talent to build a recruiting base with therefore you have to take third tier talent from everywhere else.[/align]

We are bad because of an administration that doesn't value football. Makes bad hires and in all honesty nobody cares about college football in the northeast. I'll admit UConn joined the bandwagon very late. We had great success early on but got killed by a coach that left, at the height of the program, for his dream job. He gets replaced by a coach who's time had passed him by. That coach was replaced by a coach who was a snake oil salesman. Now here we are with the coach that left for his dream job. Clearly like Bill Parcells with the Cowboys. The game has passed him by and we're stuck.

It takes me 20 mins to get home from East Hartford. 3 hours from Giants Stadium (I know, Metlife). I enjoy college football. Most don't. It also helps that guys on my hockey team run the concessions.
