Correct .. also gotta remember that most AP voters don't pay attention that much. They likely saw the ineligible headlines, and ignored the following TRO headlines.

I could be wrong but it seems that once Pitt left the Big East, their recruiting of the I 95 corridor dropped off and they are an outlier in ACC now. Not sure their fortunes in basketball improve any time soon.
