There’s a possibility we are just getting a best version of a team we should be dominating...

We are up by 2... but we have looked really suspect with clearing our zone... passing and constant turning it over....

UGLY..... but will take it.

Seriously.... we did not look like the better team for much of this game.

I'm assuming that doesn't count postseason because they won game 1 @ Lawson in 2011

Allison coming back and competing on a small sheet again... they looked great last weekend in space.... smaller space on the ice got them a little uncomfortable. Could take a sec to regain the bits at game speed.

Man we even complain about wins now? In this era of WMU athletics we should cherish those.

WMU is faster and more skilled. Ferris’s only chance was to make it ugly and cause the game to have no rhythm. Good on their coach for bringing in a game plan that almost worked.

Yeah, not sure what game everybody was watching that made them so mad. They never trailed. They won 4-2. Mission accomplished. It's college hockey. I didn't know we had to blow a team out to satisfy the fanbase now.

Every win in college hockey is a good win, and no game is automatic for even the best team. There aren't that many D1 schools in hockey, and the difference between the top and the bottom is marginal compared to other sports. Ferris is a very decent program, and is a local rivalry. I don't know what it is that makes folks think we are so much better than Ferris whenever we play them. We won the game, and that makes it a good win.

They did not play well on Friday. Very sloppy, and would have been blown off the ice against a conference foe. Team and coaches didn't look very happy after the victory, so expecting a big improvement tonight.

Murray is now 13-1-2 against Ferris, so I wouldn't say they are only "marginally" worse than us. But wins are wins.

That stat's impressive.

We may've only been marginally better then them during Murray's first few years, tho, but we've gotten a lot better & they've gotten a LOT worse.

Didn't know we've been finishing last in the conference.

Ferris has really fallen apart in the new WCHA era. They were marginally competitive in the CCHA era. Hell they made the NCAA final in 2012. But they are as bad as the Alaska schools and LSSU apparently this year. By the stroke of God and G0d they'll be better than Alabama Hunsville.
