Wow. The ole Joe Paterno Penn St. defense.
Gross.

I don't know if Jim is guilty or not, that's for the courts to say. And I won't pile on to the blame wagon without knowing more... but the above defense is was the same Penn St fans used to defende Joe Paterno. It was wrong then and is wrong now.

Hear something/see something, say something, do something.

Well for that matter, we could all say, "I don't know if JDTulane is guilty or not, that's for the courts to say. And I won't pile on to the blame wagon without knowing more ...".

Personally speaking, I am tired of Democrats wildly throwing out accusations (about anyone, not necessarily just Jim Jordan) and then essentially saying "prove yourself innocent of the claims". Even if everyone had 100% proof that they were innocent of the rabid claims, the harm would still be done to their character - which is a big part of the despicable Left's claims to begin with. They even used those same tactics in an attempt to smear a High School kid standing in front of the Capitol in D.C. that was just minding his own business, but had the audacity to wear a red Make America Great Again hat. I hope he bankrupts everyone of the people in court that did that to him and the rest of the kids out there.

But instead, he kept quiet, and only lost his integrity. For. A. Stipend. Sad.

Has it been proven that he knew anything? Or is this another Kavanaugh type slander and removal attempt?

This

applying todays "standards" of OUTRAGE!!! to things from 30 years ago with a young guy trying to do a job.

Where are the written contemporaneous complaints and investigations by that blasie-ford liar or these rasslers?

they were sooooo traumatized that they complained to a grad asst., asst coach. Then apparently dropped it, even when nothing happened.

Uhhh, yea. Right. Checks out. 07-coffee3

Can only cry wolf so many times, after a while it goes beyond tiresome to laughable.

RE: Should Jim Jordan Resign?
Does anyone else find it strange that college age wrestlers would tolerate being fondled? Especially in the time between the late 70's and mid nineties. Does anyone believe the wrestlers would not have been looked on sympathetically had they clocked the guy?
I also find it amusing that they are accusing Jordan, who as a grad assistant would have only been slightly older than the wrestlers, of ignoring it. The quote from one of the wrestlers that say Jordan ignored it was that he told Jordan " he held my balls longer than normal". Was Jordan supposed to know what was and was not normal? How would most guys aged 20-25 have reacted when told that?

Guilty of what crime? Please be specific.

Sorry, I phrased it badly. I meant court of public opinion.

Did I say that? Do you disagree with what I wrote? Why do you continue to be purposefully obtuse?

I always cringe whenever someone appears to assign common traits to one ideology. Especially when it comes to citing truths when trump is the current president. The guys made lying about his political opponents an art form! 03-wink

So you disagree that the Kavanaugh fiasco did damage to the Democrat's credibility as a whole?

Did they ever have much credibility? Regardless, nothing from that is going to carry over to any of the D's running for president, so any damage will have nothing to do with November IMO. I also don't recall any D reps hanging their entire political life to it.

You don't remember Kamalas "big moment" or Spartacus? How they doing in their run for POTUS lately? Justice Kav is the only reason anyone has heard of these two losers.

The same thing happened to dozens of female gymnasts. Predators gonna prey. I read today more than 90% of sexual assault victims on college campuses do not report the assault

Female assault is a completely different thing. We are talking male college age wrestlers who I would assume were more than capable of defending themselves.

Uhh, yea. Same scenaario. Joe Paterno effectively ran Penn St., he could have had the teachers asst to the poetry prof fired for whatever reason or no reason at all. This guy, 30+ yrs ago was a grad asst., as in subordinate to the guy allegedly doing whatever he was allegedly doing.
Where's the written complaints? Oh, there are none? Why not? Supposedly "victims" in the hundreds and not a ONE took offense enough at this behavior to file a real complaint? Only whine to a grad student?

Curious behavior, no? 03-yawn

No, you just need to show me any individual who now has credibility issues due to K or Jordan...outside of maybe the accuser and her lawyers?

Has nothing to do with reason, and everything to do with the fact that virtually no one cares any more about the K "fiasco".

Saw a story just yesterday about a retired NYC Cop, on birthday vacation with his wife in Nashville (I think it was) wearing his Birthday present red hat with "Make FIFTY Great Again". Some deranged broad blind-side sucker punched him in the left jaw wearing either a big ass ring or maybe even clutching keys in her fist, cut him to the bone. She even took the hat and screamed at him over a damn, harmless hat.

These people are seriously deranged.

What's an independent investigator? A cop? For hire to find you whatever you want? Court appointed? What?

And, if this is true, then fine, he shouldn't have done that. Charge him, sue him, do whatever you need to do. What does Jordan have to do with that?

Klobuchar should quit the race and resign cause Stuart Smalley grabbed some old ladies ass 20 yrs ago. Makes perfect sense. 07-coffee3

No, not at all. Paterno had the power to change things at Penn State and didn't.

As a graduate assistant wrestling coach, Jordan didn't have the ability to do anything, if he knew about it, and I don't believe it has been established that he did. I'm not sure that it's been established that he didn't do anything. Rather than proving that he didn't do anything, the facts may stand for the proposition that there was nothing he could have done what would have made a difference. He almost certainly had less leverage to make a difference than a star wrestler would have had, so why didn't they do anything?

The case against him seems to be 1) he knew about it, 2) he didn't do anything, and 3) we know he didn't do anything because nothing happened. I don't think any one of those has been established as fact at this point.

All we have as fact at this point is that graduate assistant Jordan did not singlehandedly stop the practice.

She needs to be in jail awaiting her trial. After the trial she needs to get some serious jail time, as in several years. Unprovoked assault like that needs to get a harsh sentence. Heck, they wanted to give Stone 9 years for telling a fib.

Really? At a University? Weren’t these students of legal age? Were these young wrestlers raped by this old homo?
My point is this: the left will use the politics of personal destruction on every single effective conservative. EVERY SINGLE ONE. It gets so predictable it is juvenile. They will use anything at all. Even something that condemns a solid voting block of their party. Homosexual predator displays himself in a shower and Jim Jordan should resign. You can’t make this chit up.

As someone who wrestled for many years, I can tell you guys like Jordan are basically practicing with the team for the most part and aren't there to be an enforcer/disciplianarian. What was he supposed to do and who would have listened to him? He could have gone to the head coach but as I recall from another article on this the head coach already knew.

She needs to be in jail awaiting her trial. After the trial she needs to get some serious jail time, as in several years. Unprovoked assault like that needs to get a harsh sentence. Heck, they wanted to give Stone 9 years for telling a fib.

absolutely!

Now really? You aren’t against homosexuality. Why jump on this band wagon? What did this guy do wrong? Maybe you can tell me.

Strauss was found by independent investigators to have sexually abused 177 male students over two decades.

Well said.
