Should Jim Jordan Resign?
This story just keeps coming back to him covering up abuses while at o$u.

Quote:A professional referee says in a lawsuit filed Thursday that disgraced doctor Richard Strauss masturbated in front of him in a shower after a wrestling match at Ohio State University, and he reported the encounter directly to Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, who was then the assistant coach.

“Yeah, that’s Strauss,” Jordan and then-head coach Russ Hellickson replied, according to the lawsuit, when the referee, identified in court papers as John Doe 42, told them about the incident. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Ohio, implies that Jordan's response to the incident, which the referee said happened in 1994, was essentially a shrug.

John Doe 42 is the second person to say he told Jordan directly about either being approached or molested by Strauss, who was found by independent investigators to have sexually abused 177 male students over two decades.

Shows how scared the Left is of Jordan. They are cowards and fear what he has to say. Why? Because he speaks the truth.

If jacking off in the shower is illegal then the Ref should have called the police.

RE: Should Jim Jordan Resign?
First of all, I sure wish NBC News and other “non-partisan” 03-lmfao media-outlets could generate the same kind of persistence and skepticism about the Jeffrey Epstein case as they have about the Richard Strauss case.

But back to Jordan: before I would support his resignation, I would need to be convinced that he, personally, committed a criminal act or that he, personally, suppressed the disclosure of a criminal act by someone else in order to protect his (Jordan’s) own job/career. What I’ve seen in media so far doesn’t even come close to that.

RE: Should Jim Jordan Resign?
Wasn't Jordan basically a graduate assistant wrestling coach back then? Hell, his job was basically to spar with guys and run select drills in practice, hand out singlets and help fold up the wrestling mats at the end of the practice. As someone who wrestled for many years, I can tell you guys like Jordan are basically practicing with the team for the most part and aren't there to be an enforcer/disciplianarian. What was he supposed to do and who would have listened to him? He could have gone to the head coach but as I recall from another article on this the head coach already knew.

Times have changed - while deplorable on a bunch of levels.... stuff like that was more prevalent and "accepted" or at least more "turned the other cheek" much more often. Joe Paterno is another one.

If we are going down the path of reparations then I suppose that is not only in racial discrimination/slavery, but also with sexual harassment and assault (or just plain old gross sexual behavior).....

How does someone Tug the rope "in front of" someone in the shower? Sounds like the referee may have been copping a look. Did Jordan hold the referee down so he HAD to watch. So the dude beats off in the shower. Every guy from the age of 14 to 90 would have to go to jail if that was against the rules. Hell, where else was he supposed to do it?

There is some truth in that, but it still doesn’t really get to the core of the issue. Which is, namely, that

1. Jordan was not (by all accounts) a personal eye-witness to Dr. Strauss’ creepy (or worse) behavior.
2. Jordan had (by all accounts) essentially Zero power/authority here and everything he was “told” (supposedly) was also “told” (supposedly) to at least one other person with higher-rank/influence.
3. It was (and is) very socially/politically risky for anyone (much less the assistant wrestling coach) to make an accusation of predatory sexual behavior, when the alleged victims were all 18 years or older, and had made no such accusation themselves.

If I was Jordan I'd tell those who want him gone to first investigate the untimely suicide of Epstein. First them then me. Otherwise, stfu.

I'm pretty sure I've never been in a "public shower" whatever that is. Unless you are talking about one of those showers that are at the beach? I keep my clothes on under those, but nice effort.

Guessing you never played sports growing up then. The showers in my high school was one big open room with 10-12 shower heads along the perimeter of the walls.

I knew what you meant.. And no.. I haven't..

Not a common practice to rub one out after a game in the fieldhouse.. After the game in the comfort of my girlfriend's home and her hands or at my house.. But never in the public shower after a game.

Republicans are about to move Jordan to the house intelligence committee where he will be directly involved in questioning the impeachment inquiry liars. So Schiff and the left crapped their pants and started up this debunked story again.
