Is Mobile a destination city? I guess Sadd Peoples isn't enough of a turnoff. While someone is there, can they turn off the lights at Sadd Peoples?
Maybe next year, the bowl game could move to USA campus....

It is, isn't it?

Next year two Sun Belt teams are hosting bowl games at their on-campus stadiums; CCU and USA.

And of course the Tabasco Bowl at newly renovated Cajun Field. (wishful thinking)03-wink

It would be cool to have a bowl near Lafayette, I just think a bowl game at a College stadium is dumb.

Yes they sure did in 2005 because of Katrina, but as far as having it a college field for no reason not that exciting to me. I look at it as almost another away game

Now, that could be a safe bet. Agreed.

Seems to me since ESPN owns most of the bowls, the only predictions that might have any value would be those on ESPN or ESPN.com.

If they don't make it to New Orleans, they may have their sights set on Montgomery. And, if they are the runnerup I think they'll get their pick.

I would rather Mobile or Montgomery, just because we played in Nola already this year, I know it won’t happen but I would love to take another conferences bowl and go to Shreveport or Dallas.

I would rather New Orleans. That's where the champion goes.

I think Little Rock would be a good place to have a bowl game. They have War Memorial Stadium that is never used.

On the Black and Gold Podcast a few years back they talked about having a bowl game in Boone, only half facetiously. They said it should be the Christmas Tree Bowl, named after all the local Christmas tree farms. Would be interesting.

Sadly, that ship has sailed. Never got much traction in pig country

If the pigs continue on the path they are on LR might be ready for some good football. Or not.

You underestimate the depth of the hog depravity. Plus the fired another coach for $10million today so the Walmart fans will all be fired up about getting a new coach and turning things around. Seems like they've done this before.

CBS is projecting the Belk Bowl will be open on the SEC side. I gotta think they would love to get a 12-1 App team in there versus Wake or Va Tech. Maybe ESPN could make it happen

UCF vs Ark St seems to be popular....I would think every SB team would love to play against UCF.

App State and Wake (or VT) would be an instant sell out for sure (if they would even want Appalachian)

I would rather it be against Wake than VT. I graduated from App State and my wife from Va Tech, and I would rather not have a house divided 03-wink
