RE: Basketball Intro Video
The football intro could win an Espy. Custom music, unique visuals, local flair— it’s the complete package. This one doesn’t hold a candle to it.

Also, Afrika Bambaataa is a child predator. How the hell does this and the phallic court pass the vetting test?

Let's see another NCAA coach get out there and look like he fits in that video. We got a unique guy here. Kids see it...

Whatever the kids like.......that's most important to keep recruiting rolling.

I don't like it, but I'm almost 50 and figure my taste is just too "old school" now to count.

Just don't like it.

Kids seem to be having fun so they must like it. Doesn’t do anything to make me hype though.

I like the video on it's own, but for an intro that is supposed to get people hyped it's a dud.

I’ve never needed an intro video to get me pumped up.

The video is fun. The players and Penny are having fun. I’m pretty sure that potential recruits like it too.

Eh, good concept and it looked like the players had a lot of fun making it, however the final product leaves a lot to be desired for "hype" video though IMO.

The point of an intro video is to get the crowd hyped. That's literally the point of it. This one falls flat on doing that.

Again I like the video. It's cool and it's fun, but it's just meh when it comes to an intro video.

It’s not a crotchety thing— it’s a you have one of the most hyped teams in the country, one of the biggest music scenes in the world, and you choose a 1980s song by an NYC artist who has a history of pedophilia thing.

We view it differently then. It’s just not that big a deal. What pumps me up is the lights going down and introducing the players (I miss Fred Cook) and the opening tip. Frankly, none of the videos do what you are talking about. Well, except for the video that had Jack Eaton in it playing some of his old play by play calls.

That pretty much sums it up for me as well.

There will always be the folks that will complain about something. Some here would complain about getting a $100 bill.

They're invested ($$ and emotionally) and they have opinions. Not a bad thing.

Frankly I don't understand the "Hater" mentality. It's not wrong to think differently or disagree. Name calling and looking down on those with differing views is petty and pointless.

We're all Tigers here! GTG
