There will always be the folks that will complain about something. Some here would complain about getting a $100 bill.
They're invested ($$ and emotionally) and they have opinions. Not a bad thing.
Frankly I don't understand the "Hater" mentality. It's not wrong to think differently or disagree. Name calling and looking down on those with differing views is petty and pointless.
We're all Tigers here! GTG
Ok I guess.
I’ve been invested with $ and emotionally since James Bradley. Speaking of opinions, all I was doing was voicing mine.

I’ve never needed an intro video to get me pumped up.
The video is fun. The players and Penny are having fun. I’m pretty sure that potential recruits like it too.
The point of an intro video is to get the crowd hyped. That's literally the point of it. This one falls flat on doing that.
Again I like the video. It's cool and it's fun, but it's just meh when it comes to an intro video.
We view it differently then. It’s just not that big a deal. What pumps me up is the lights going down and introducing the players (I miss Fred Cook) and the opening tip. Frankly, none of the videos do what you are talking about. Well, except for the video that had Jack Eaton in it playing some of his old play by play calls.
Last years video did a better job of hyping the crowd though not much better. The ones during Cal were pretty good especially the 2008-09 one.
I have no problem with the video itself. I actually enjoyed it, but it's just not good for an intro video.
At the end of the day all that matters is that the kids had fun with it, which they did so I'm cool with it.
After that intro of Josh Pastner's head coming over the ball like a sunrise to the theme from 2001, well, everything's great these days. That year definitely set the low bar.

Then why respond defensively? GTG

I actually liked that one. I never really liked the players that were trampling over downtime like Godzllla though.

It wasn’t defensive at all. The video is fine. I’ll tell you who likes it a lot and who had a lot of input on what type of video it was going to be, including picking the song, one Penny Hardaway. Go watch his post game presser on YouTube.

FWIW, Penny picked out the video music and was involved in the editing this year.
I don’t think it was a big deal to anyone
This is a message and discussion board so some people shared their opinions of a nominal thing
As you did, expressing you don’t care about videos, but apparently care that people have minor opinions about videos
Cheer up, buttercup.
Apologies if I overstated what was my understanding of the importance of the video. I should remember that snowflakes are easily offended. I should have said I'm amazed that it is such a minor deal to anyone that threads get started about such. I mean to me it ranks right up with what's the blimp dropping this year. And as you said, it's a message board so, personal liberties and all that stuff.
I did conclude with the disclaimer, "whatever" - so I think that lets me off the hook about caring whether people have minor opinions.

Two words make this post hilarious, buttercup and snowflakes.
