And just to make sure I'm not being a team and/or conference homer, here is an example.

#6 Kansas- Oklahoma State, Iowa State and Baylor.

#20 Auburn- Georgia, Samford and Alabama

#47 Penn State- Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio State and Rutgers.

Just to be clear, ESPN is telling us that UCLA has a tougher schedule than Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Penn State etc...

They play Utah, USC and Cal.

Massey has Ohio St and Penn St as stronger than them but not Alabama or Georgia.... FPI dinging those 2 a bit harder for Rutgers(and for OSU Maryland as well).

It's definitely not crazy at all...

Alabama while yes they have WCU has LSU, Auburn, and Miss St who while hasn't had a good season is still #44 in the Massey Composite. Definitely a whole hell of a lot better than Maryland.
