Yep... We might have been in trouble had we not played Cincy. What we don’t want to do at this point is split games with Cincy and watch Boise jump us.

Boise could say SMU hasn't played anybody except a down TCU and a decent Temple.

1. The P5 bias is undeniable. Only Oklahoma State breaks up the bottom 6 and they shouldn't even be ranked with 3 losses.
2. The top is set up to exclude one of the SEC and B10 schools with the upcoming head to heads. That will likely lead to either Georgia or Oregon slipping through.

I wonder if we drop after we beat up on BYE.

We are 2-0 against teams in the top 25 of the poll...

Both teams have 1 bad loss...

I didn't understand Wiscon. being ranked so highly. They already have two loses including one to a bad Illinois team. Regardless who they have beat that is 2 loses. Shouldn't be higher than 20 IMO

Why are 3 loss Power 5 teams not ranked higher than 2 loss Power 5 teams? Because that would "look" bad. But alas, it's all about what it "looks" like in a poll versus wins/losses.

This is exactly why I thought they were ranked too high at 15 or whatever it was before we played them.

Or Wake Forest who has played NOBODY. Even Minn has played NOBODY but gets the auto rank for being in the B1G. Neither of these schools should be ranked above any of the AAC schools ranked.

And BTW, Memphis should be above Cincy simply because we have beat 2 ranked schools & have a middle SEC win.
