We talked about it. But we were so soaked, it didn't even matter anymore. But to your point, why do we judge our fellow fans? I don't get it. Someone asked me why I was leaving early for the CBU bball exhibition. REALLY? Anytime you get this many people in 1 place, there will be nuts.

Besides, there were plenty who left at halftime last night.

If there were a screen in between the field and the stands that shielded the team's and coach's view of people leaving, the difference in crowd size from the start to the finish, I wouldn't care if you stayed, left, or set yourself on fire. And Saturday was not a good example, the game was sold out, and people stayed for the most part because the game was tight to the end.

My main beef is with people who "want to be big-time", but aren't willing to "put in the work" to BE big-time. How do you think the SMU fans that visited felt when they saw that literally full stadium with 95% Tigers fans? My first thought would be "intimidated", then envious. I just want that for every game, you know, since it's only 6 times a year. Maybe 7 this year. We have the opportunity to be THE flagship without dispute in the AAC. We have the seating capacity for it (biggest except for Temple and USF?), we have the population count for it, and right now... AS LONG AS HE'S HAPPY HERE...hint, hint... we have the coach for it.

Every year, I think we (AAC) will continue to rise, and eventually we will become a destination conference, and then
Every year, the initial CFP poll comes out, and then
Every year, I realize we need to become attractive enough to the BigXII to get snatched up in 2025.

I guess it's just like the old saying - "Pray like it all depends on God, and then work like it all depends on you."

Yeah, it was just a joke about the "live shot". I admitted that my wife reminded me it was probably not live.

You seem to be quite engaged with this thread, and especially AT me. Care to elaborate?

RE: Leaving at half time...
Geo's right.

We have a nasty tendency to leave in droves in the second halves of football games for reasons I cannot possibly imagine. And I'm not talking about games in which we are cruising.

This fanbase has some toughening up to do.

Btw: I went to the Grizzlies game last night and because of this thread I noticed people leaving at half time by the hundreds at least...... The Grizzlies staff told them: Thanks for coming
