Wren Traditions is a student advancement group, yes. I think Khaos at Kaplan is a new event, they're just trying to get more people to a women's bball game/take advantage of a double header.
Decided to give this its own thread. So its clear to me, as a major gap in "branding," is the ability to put out any kind of centralized structure or message regarding athletics support, both physically and financially as well as through alumni groups and current students. There seems to only be a discohesive cluster of groups, including:
Tribeclub (the biggie)
Quarterback club
Tribal Fever
Wren Traditions
Alumni Association
Athletic Department
Probably more
Cant this somehow be reigned in to have a louder and more consistent voice? I understand the usefulness of having both a school-associated and a separate AD-run group for financial/legal reasons, but perhaps these should be better structured and placed under individual wings of those two options to help organize publicity etc. We need strong momentum to drive interest from alums, current students as well as the local community. Organizing these individual efforts from a central manager of sorts would clearly be beneficial. Seems like its been a mess for awhile.

RE: Tribe Athletics Fundraising and Support Structure
Student organizations are always fractured and a mess. How many acappella groups are there? It would be nice to have one student-run athletics booster group for the administration to get behind, but leadership on a year to year basis is usually really inconsistent and it's not uncommon for students that are unhappy to go form a new group instead of sticking with the existing one.
