This has been fun, but I think the CFP will take over starting tonight.

Computers, AP and Coaches say, “not today”. Maybe when it’s all said and done? Maybe.

And quite possibly by week 11’s posting. Because... Cincy went down 9 points and Memphis went up 77 since last week (9). And there is now only a 58 pt spread between them.

As an App State fan, this is just depressing. One three-point loss and App has to depend on someone else to beat Ga. Southern just to have a chance to win the conference. App could easily go 11-1 with wins over South and North Carolina and wind up in the Dollar General Bowl in that dilapidated stadium against a 7-5 MAC team.

True. And I gave App the division nod for right now since they have 4 wins in conference vs GSR’s and GST’s 3. GaSo still has at Troy, at ASU and vs a dangerous GaSt.

As to your 2nd point. Dollar General in some ways still better than FCS title race??? Debatable. Maybe if we quit poopooing these lesser bowls, it would mean more.

...or!...maybe these lesser bowls will die off and the G5 will see their better teams that don’t make it to a bowl vs a P5 in a G5 NIT-type tournament of the 8 best G5 teams that don’t go to a bowl vs a P5.

MWC gets better recognition for beating the most P5 schools. They consider Arkansas, Tennessee and the lower half of P5 schools as better wins than Navy, Tulsa, Tulane, Temple, Cincinnati etc.
