Northeastern has never had a ton of depth if my memory serves correctly. Which is remarkable, because they play fast on offense and still play tight defense. Coen's conditioning program must be insane.

I don't really ever recall him having too many players that I would consider out of shape either. He seems to recruit the type for that game plan.

Makes sense. It looks like they're going to rely on 6 players heavily this season.

In which case we should run, run, run and run some more against them utilize our depth!

RE: 2019 M Basketball CAA Non Conference
A couple other nice opportunities for the CAA tonight. Northeastern @ UMASS and W&M @ Wofford. All 4 teams involved currently have no losses yet. And dating back to last year, Wofford is currently on a 17-game home winning streak.

In fact, Wofford's last regular season loss goes all the way back to December 19 of 2018 to Mississippi St. Wofford lost to Kentucky by just 6 in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

The Tribe deserves a shout out opening the season with 3 road wins. Definitely didnt see that coming with their tumultuous offseason

As a lifelong Celtics fan, I couldn’t be happier for Walter McCarty. A really good dude, and even better coach. Wow

Let it be known that I am not. I’m of the opinion we should keep reminding them what a shite show their off-season was to keep them grounded.

They were paid $90,000 by UK to come into their house and beat them. Awesome.

The Tribe may be our kryptonite even if we have a good season. They are getting 40 ppg from their 4 and 5 spot, with 6'10 + players. Not sure how we neutralize that when we meet.

RE: 2019 M Basketball CAA Non Conference
Rough night for the CAA.

Hofstra laid an egg on the road at Bucknell while Charleston's rough 2nd half let to a 19 point home loss versus Oklahoma St after a halftime tie

Drexel put up a fight at Rutgers as they led at halftime. Ended up losing by 5. Drexel could be the team to watch, or follow for us Non Flo subscribers, once conference play starts.

Towson has a road game at Florida tonight. 7PM on ESPN2

RE: 2019 M Basketball CAA Non Conference
The Drexel loss is a bummer. 2 points in the first 6 minutes really did them in. That 1 point lead became a 10 point deficit. They clawed back and even took a brief 1 point lead at 51-50, but ultimately shooting 27% in the 2nd half is not going to win you many games, especially against a power conference team on the road. But that is the type of game the conference needs to be able to finish off. Close but no cigar or moral victories need to get converted to actual wins if the conference is going to climb back up and be legitimate each year. CofC doing better down the stretch would have been nice too. Hopefully Towson does not lay down at Florida, though I fear it will be ugly with Florida coming off a loss to their rival FSU
