Why does fb do these contracts so far out? Makes no sense, because it's unnecessary. Granted, this one is extreme in it's future dating. But contracts are routinely 5 years out, and that still doesn't make sense.

Both Ole Miss and VT are NOTORIOUS for poor scheduling.

They can both say they scheduled a P5 program and have plenty of time to cancel the contract later.
