Correct. I think this is the case.
If he is a "grass is greener on the other side" guy he will leave. If not he will stay.
If CMN has an ego that needs to be fed, or he has a burning desire to "move up" then, there is nothing for us to do to keep him.
I get the feeling he is really attached to Memphis, this city and the program. He has got it rolling now and can really take it to an even higher level that where we are now.
If you watch the post game press conference, you will see, IMO, a genuine, sincere love for where he is now. He has minimal pressure on him and his staff. He is LOVED by the university and the city and the fans. He is in a great situation RIGHT NOW, and I can't think of any reason to want to walk away. Granted, I don't know him personally, but I know what I see from him in the public, and I just don't think moving on is a priority for him.
If you can't live comfortably on $3 million a year, then you got bigger problems. I would like to think of him as the Mark Few of college football. Plenty of opportunities out there, but he has it good right now. Why change.
