WAC Cross Country Championships
For the uninitiated cross county teams win with the lowest point total.

Women's Team
1 CBU 15
2 Utah Valley 69
3 Grand Canyon 88
4 New Mexico St. 108
5 Kansas City 122
6 UT-Rio Grande Valley 154
7 Seattle U. 170
8 CSU Bakersfield 238
9 Chicago State 275

The fact that CBU won with 15 points is a perfect score. They had the top 5 runners.

Women's Individual
1 Somogyi, Anett SR-4 CBU 21:18.0
2 Mate, Anna SO-2 CBU 21:28.7
3 Kolbeinsdottir, Andrea FR-1 CBU 21:31.5
4 Ladanyi, Fruzsina SR-4 CBU 21:34.1
5 Renaud, Emilie SO-2 CBU 21:35.1
6 Neuberger, Savannah SR-4 Utah Valley 21:39.7
7 Zwahlen, Maggie SO-2 Utah Valley 21:45.2
8 Balsan, Elizabeth JR-3 Grand Canyon 21:46.8
9 Wallace, Erika SR-4 Grand Canyon 21:52.1
10 Herner, Sommer SO-2 Kansas City 21:53.3

Men's Team
1 Utah Valley 44
2 CBU 47
3 UT-Rio Grande Valley 68
4 New Mexico St. 74
5 Grand Canyon 159
6 Kansas City 169
7 Seattle U. 176
8 Chicago State 255

CSU-B does not have a men's team.

Men's Individual
1 Lynch, Kevin SR-4 Utah Valley 24:48.8
2 Chirchir, Abraham SO-2 UT-Rio Grande Valley 24:58.7
3 Kirwa, Michael JR-3 New Mexico St. 25:00.6
4 Hartzenberg, McMarshall JR-3 CBU 25:15.4
5 Kozuhar, Zlatko FR-1 CBU 25:15.4
6 Peris, Manuel SO-2 CBU 25:15.5
7 Valincius, Giedrius FR-1 CBU 25:17.4
8 Call, Hawk SO-2 Utah Valley 25:22.0
9 Kemboi, Geofrey JR-3 Utah Valley 25:28.0
10 Selbach, Max SO-2 Kansas City 25:29.3

Congrats to the Team and Individual champions. If you look at the CBU runners, they ran as a pack and were possibly holding something back for the NCAA Regionals. With only 2 runners graduating over both teams for CBU, they
look to be really strong again.

Two weeks until regionals - https://www.ustfccca.org/meets-results/r...ps-central

RE: WAC Cross Country Championships
A perfect score is fairly rare at a conference championship unless you just totally outclass the entire rest of the field. CBU is legit. They are getting votes to be ranked. Glad they're in the WAC.

RE: WAC Cross Country Championships
The WAC covers 4 of the 9 NCAA Regions for Cross Country. This is a spread out conference. So while CBU was by far the strongest someone else could qualify out of an easier region.
