No, but most media types who follow the business of sports think it’ll eventually be rolled in as contracts expire. If you get ESPN through a provider, you can watch ESPN3 games on the app (ESPN).

FWIW, those games should end up on ESPN3. Ole Miss is already listed there on the AAC website. The holdup may be whether or not a local station picks up those games.

Thanks. Are you saying that if I have espn on youtube tv, and I download the espn3 app to my tv or computer, I can watch the game through the app?

Again, thanks in advance.

No, it will prompt you for your TV provider.

ESPN3 FAQ's

Quote:If you have already verified your TV provider, you will be able to navigate and watch all available content. If a lock icon appears next to your content, you will need to verify your account. Non-participating TV provider customers may have access to ESPN3 programming online at https://www.espn.com/watch/, as long as they subscribe to a participating high speed internet service provide. Users accessing the URL above or the ESPN mobile app (Android or iOS) via an on-campus (.edu) or on-base (.mil) network receive complimentary access to ESPN3 content.

You're correct. It prompts me for my provider which is YouTubeTV and they don't have an agreement with ESPN to carry ESPN3 content anymore. So why on earth did I buy ESPN+? So I could get espn3 material. I figured what's 5 bucks a month.

Of course I now find out I can't get what used to be free espn3 content through espn+ even though I'm paying a monthly fee for it. This all makes sense doesn't it?

I'm trying to get a refund for Espn+ since it's worse than free Espn3. It's really frustrating. What do we have to do to see this team play a game for once?

Edit: I think I'll just get a 7 day free trial for SlingTV and try the Espn3 app through that, just so I can see the game. Of course ESPN will probably have some kind of block on apps for trial subscriptions.
They are having a series on Tiger basketball only on ESPN plus starting next week.

Yeah ... Your gonna need an account #, password or something. Try it and see ... If it's for 7days try it out tonight. I will say this. I've heard you can borrow a password (whatever) from someone ... Say a friend or relative ...
And it works. Surely you know someone who trusts you not to abuse the privilege. Or you could get hulu tv and skip going to the movies once a month. 07-coffee3

I'm not sure if the others are the same, but Sling does not allow you to DVR any of the ESPN channels.

No ESPN3 or ESPN+ coverage
The CA now says no TV and no streaming. And now they changed it again to ESPN3.

Not sure what is going on at the CA. Greg Gaston mentioned it being on ESPN3 during his show today. If anyone would know, he would.

Well I just subscribed to Sling TV which shows the game on ESPN3. Since I have youtubeTV, I'll just cancel Sling after the season.

Hopefully by then they will have moved to ESPN+. $15 a month for Sling Orange will give you ESPN3.

That's what I got. The Orange package. I also added the $5 DVR. Unfortunately you can't record ESPN, espn2, espn3, Disney channels, and a few more. Didn't know that when I ordered. 03-banghead

I only wanted it because I get off work at the time the game starts (Pacific time). Oh well, I'll just hang around work for the first half. Race home at half time and watch the 2nd half at home. Lol

I could try and stream it like I did for both exhibition games but then again, someone may claim that I invaded their privacy, so, not going to do that again.
