Maybe, but I've never seen it. Distracting, considering FB is a team sport with such announcements DURING a game. It says 'look at me' instead of look at us & focusing on a team win in a team sport. Plenty of time for "me" after the game.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

They’ve been recognizing players for accomplishments for a very long time though; this isn’t a new thing.

If one is going to have a hype man, that person needs to have the voice to do it.

It's hard to have Lamar Latrell getting folks fired up.
