Nice game. Buckshot was amazing. No INT. BYU was 5th in the country in INT’s. This could build into a nice rivalry. Let’s get another contract signed.

I'm surprised BYU fans (at least one) wants this to develop into a rivalry. I would have figured you had enough rivals and didn't need any more, or at least there was such a large gap to cross for Liberty to jump over schools like Utah, Utah State, and even others like Boise State. I'd be happy to develop a rivalry, especially with BYU and it's encouraging that it may be mutual.

Great game by Liberty this past Saturday. It was fun and exciting football. Man, your QB can sling it and #11 was fantastic! Big sigh of relief when that 4-and-long pass was knocked away.

I'm intrigued by what Liberty is putting together. I'd rather play the Flames in November than UMass or New Mexico State. And, southern Virginia is a great location for a road game for our East Coast fans. Driving distance from D.C. area and the Carolinas. I expect a big turnout when we make the return game.

It would take some time to actually develop into a rivalry, but I could get behind frequent games against Liberty. We share common beliefs and a higher purpose. There's a lot to like about that.

I can’t speak for everyone but I like what Liberty stands for. Liberty is invested in making a good program. I for one would like to see this long term. UCONN, UMASS and Liberty yearly with some BBall games included.
