RE: Starting to Wonder if Holgresen is in over his head

He looks miserable all the time and every camera shot of him is usually accompanied by a profanity-laced tirade or some condescending commentary about his players. He may be able to assemble some talent at UH over the next several years, but I doubt that he will get his players to play to their potential or to play cohesively. His record at WVU was pretty good, but Mountaineer fans basically were happy when he left as the they were basically done with him.
Its not like he wasnt here before. He is a solid coach and has assembled a solid staff. I think we are going to be very happy with Dana over the long run once he gets the talent base rebuilt. The thing I like most is we are seeing what it looks like when a coach is building a program for the long term as opposed to squeezing the maximum out of it for a short one or two year run in order to get a P5 job offer (with little regard for what happens next). He is program building---which is exactly what we need after all the turnover since 2011.

I welcome any school on our schedule to hire applewhite. He is so bad I don't know where to start.
I am good with Fritz but if he leaves I think Applewhite could keep the ball rolling in the near to mid term.

Yeah. We made that mistake too.
Many don't care for Holgerson's personality, but at least he has one.
