RE: MAC today
Nonconference results and computer ratings bear out what we are saying about the MAC being way down.

RE: MAC today
Just look at the MAC in conference road records. WMU isn't the only team struggling to win on the road. Weird year in the MAC

RE: MAC today
Injuries have killed us this year. There may be coaching issues too, or talent issues - once the starting LBs went out we looked like we've never played football before. Obviously had no depth. Earlier on, like against Ball State, we had a lot of stupid penalties which cost us. At least they've had that corrected.
I think our playcalling is so vanilla it isn't funny. No creativity.

I’ll take posts that didn’t age well for $500, Alex.

Yeah, that didn't age well. But Colin also isn't on his rivals message board trolling on a Friday evening. So I'd say he's beating you in the game of life.

We've known for a couple weeks now CMU is decent. But like us, they can fall flat on their faces.
The silver lining to the beatdown today is that it confirms my suspicions: NIU is garbage. As stated, NO EXCUSES to losing to that dumpster fire this year.
I don't want to hear 'it's in DeKalb tho.' We need to get over our 'we can't win in some stadiums.' That's fine for Buckeye Stadium or The Big House, but I don't want to hear it for a MAC stadium. Bill Cubit broke the losing streak at Kelly-Shorts. We now own them up there. NO REASON we should tremble at 'the Glass Bowl' or 'DeKalb.'
Also I'd MUCH RATHER have had our loss be to an EMU who's out of it, then a potential tie-breaker to CMU. The team has a few more games to show the EMU L was a fluke.
Finally, I don't think the MAC 'sucks', so much as there is a lot of parity this year. This year the only team who seems truly awful is Akron. Usually there's a 2 or 3 teams who are 2-10, 1-11, etc. This season everyone's beating each other and there's no 2016 WMU or 2012 NIU.
