Exclamation Football early signing is Dec 18th
Football early signing NLI is Dec 18th. Tigers seem to have a rather small class coming in for 2020, are there local or regional players who have not committed that we are in the running with to bring on board? I do not hear anything on football recruiting.

The numbers always seem to work out for players we want and need.

I still think we sign a JC QB in this class along with Brown. We have zero depth at QB.

Or a transfer. But Brady White Will be the starting QB next year. He has grown volumes since the beginning of the year.

Does he have limits? Absolutely but his production is and ratings are outstanding.

We have a committed Big Time Dual Treat QB from Louisiana. The kid announced several months ago. He will probably be the QB of the future. Will probably redshirt next year and allow him to learn the system.

Not saying he won’t be, but we need depth

Adair and Quinn will be fine. And Layman will be in time. Adair showed remarkable improvement in the limited snaps he got earlier this year. He has the arm talent. It is just taking him longer.

Quinn will push Adair and may pass him for 2021. Just an outsider's view but I think Norvell would rather not keep having a revolving door in the QB room if the talent is there, which it is.

We lose OL and DL this year and need to improve our DBs. I don't see where the DL is being addressed.

Our DL is very young. Huff and Wilson are the only two Seniors that see a lot of playing time. We have two JRs that play. Our FR DE and the one that are injured will be huge contributors next season. We redshirted a couple as well.

OL, we lose our best player, but also have a lot of depth. I don't see that as being a huge issue.

Our DBs are not the issue, as much as losing Blake has changed the overall dynamic. Moved Broussard to Safety (a position he has never played) and changed the rotation. Claybrooks will be our best DB, but he missed 6 games due to injury. He is just trying to get back into game shape and speed.

This class is going to be very small, by most standards. We don't have that many Seniors. We don't have that many scholarships to give and those are being directed towards playmakers. I think next year's class will be bigger and you will see an emphasis on the OL/DL and defense in general.

And I agreed. Hence the transfer addition to the list of possibilities.

MN leaves, would not be surprised at all of BW transfers, he could already graduated twice.

While that is a possibility and he would have immediate eligibility... where would he transfer and have a better situation? It wouldn't be anywhere in the G5 or any job Norvell takes, assuming he does.

IMO, if Brady transfer he'll follow Mike it's a possibility Patrick Taylor could also follow, I haven't heard this on the street or from my many sources, just my opinion. Patrick will probably go pro if he doesn't return this yr.
I'm hoping Mike appreciates the Love the entire City has for him and accepts the challenge of getting us to the next level. I firmly believe he can get us there, plus he plays exciting brand of football and should he leave he's to classy of a guy to poach our players.
Dr.Rudd and A.D. let's get him re signed and let him bring in the 4 and 5 stars that r now seriously considering Memphis

That's certainly a popular opinion in the media right now.

But I think the grad transfer exception is a 1-time deal. All other NCAA transfers that allow immediate playing time is a 1-shot exception.

For sure, it's unusual for grad transfers to have multiple years of eligibility left. But I'm thinking he would not be able to transfer again.
