Saw on twitter where Malone and McCoy have academic issues and their return is up in the air. We blew a 9-point lead in the final 2 minutes of regulation. Not good, but not particularly surprising, either, when only 7 guys played, 4 of whom ended up with at least 40 minutes. To overcome that kind of momentum and win the OT is pretty impressive regardless.

Again, Ladner points the finger at himself for the breakdowns, which I totally respect:

and if USM is lucky they will get to play in the dual court tournament. Nothing screams stupid and cheap more than two games being played right next to one another in the same building.

It’s truly mind-boggling how many stupid decisions CUSA continues to make no matter the year or the membership roster. It’s been that way since we named the thing.
