Granted it's an exhibition tonight but it marks the start of competing against other teams. With 11 newbies and 6 returners (didn't realize the roster could have 17 so possibly a few redshirts) it's probably going to be a slow start.

No clue on the starting 5 but figure Draine, Harper-Baker, Watson and Malone would be 4 of the 5. As far as who possibly is the 5th, will Ladner go with a defense lineup with 6-7 Jones, 6-10 Dean or 6-7 Harris....or will Ladner go with a more athletic lineup with 6-0 Armstrong, 6-5 Angel Smith, or 6-4 Austin Leslie. And I may be wrong all together. We shall see later today.

We should run it up and down the court on MC. I'm truly not being facetious when I say there are some high school teams in MS that could beat them.

Harper-Baker, Draine, Watson, Malone and Tyler Stephenson announces as starters so I was good on the original 4. Tyler a bit of a surprise but he did have a few strong performances off the bench last year

Not gonna read too much into the first exhibition game, but we’ve got a bunch of guys who’ll need to grow up quickly if we’re to be even decent this year.

At least our free throw shooting was excellent. I suppose that’s something.

Jay was one of the best FT shooters at OG and USM...iirc, his make percentage was over 90+ percent....

I was there and still wondering where all those Ladner supporters were. There couldn't have been more than a 200-300 at the most at the start of the game. After halftime there was probably closer to 1000 but that's probably a little too generous...and FTR they were serving beer
