Not sure I have ever seen a team's receivers drop this many easy passes.

It appears both coaches and the players need to learn how to win. Poor playcalling, poor routes, poor defense on a few big plays, and dropped passes result in another loss. This is one you have to try hard to lose. Unfortunately they pulled it off.

I am not a football expert at all, but I don't understand why the Bucs spurned the run on that last series.

Totally agree. This staff seems to get locked in to either run every down or pass every down on different series.

Another defeat snatched from the jaws of victory.

Western defeated VMI, so at best ETSU has gone from 1st to a tie for worst.

This team lost their confidence after VMI.
Can’t make the big play when it counts.

What a difference last years QB made. Inspired the others and bailed out the coaching staff.

We need a season ticket holder refund :(

Team is pathetic. When we lose to Western it will be deserved. No excuse for this horrible team.

For the casual football fans that I encountered last year that concluded that ETSU had a really good team, I would comment that they really didn't have a good team, but a team that was just good enough.

This year when I encounter the same folks...

One loss is bad luck. Two losses is bad luck. But isomething else is wrong right now and it is not bad luck.

So much went into bringing football back. ETSU needs to move aggressively, make a statement, and replace him — not only for his incompetence, but to keep the nice fan base that has been established and please the donors who gave the money. A second season like this would be very hard to overcome, attract the fans back, and keep the donors giving.
