#31 Strength of Wins.

#112 Pain of Losses

Surprising. Would have expected those numbers to be reversed, or I'm not understanding the meaning.

RE: Strength of Schedule
We're high in the strength of wins because we have 5 wins and haven't had a bye, and the teams we've beaten typically have a pulse (other than BG). We are low in the pain of losses because the teams we've lost to have a lot of other losses as well.

RE: Strength of Schedule
The third chart makes sense of it all. This analysis only evaluates wins, not quality of the wins and other teams' talents. The teams we've played are generally close to us in talent, and that's why the games have been close, except for GAST and MSU. We've beat several decent/good G5 teams, and lost to lackluster P5 teams and decent/good G5 teams.

RE: Strength of Schedule
Pain of Losses isn't as high because Michigan St is a middling-Big 10 team and Syracuse is a cellar-dweller.

Meanwhile, we've had 2 solid wins vs 5-2 Georgia St, 5-3 Central Michigan, and MAC East leader Miami.
