But I don't want to debate.. I'm still here.. I can't help it neither of these don't know courtesy or how to hold a normal conversation, it's this or that with you two.. Tigeroll acted as if I owed him an answer and made it a yes or no, then accused me of not wanting to debate.. Hey Slapnuts, to debate you don't demand yes or no answers, you ask a question, then debate from dialogue... Furthermore you don't demand sh*t of people after you don't answer the question posed to you and get all pissy about it when called out.

You wanna see the troll, look in the mirror.. I've figured you out junior.

And CB, isn't there a Yahoo! article or 5 calling your name so you can do drive by posts...

The guy that took over for Baghdadi has just been killed also.

The followup tweets are hilarious.

The story is that his administration outed the identities of a bunch of them and they were later ambushed. There are some videos out there going into more detail. The stories didn't make it to CNN or MSNBC for obvious reasons. You can do an Internet search and decide for yourself. I believe it, but then again I have a very low regard for the integrity of the Obama team.

Hogwash.

Quote:Biden’s remarks were later criticized, as was the entire administration for openly crediting the SEALs, after a helicopter carrying 30 American military members, including some from Team 6, were killed on August 6, 2011, when the aircraft was shot down by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

But an investigation into the attack did not find evidence that the helicopter was targeted as part of a pre-calculated ambush.

"We do not believe the mission was compromised," Garry Reid, principal deputy assistance secretary for special operations and low-intensity conflict, told Congress in 2014. "There was no external coordination so there’s no possibility of information going up the chain and somehow going out to the Taliban."
No, Biden did not ‘leak’ the names of SEAL Team 6 members to al-Qaida

But yeah...you cling to some internet videos. 03-zzz

There was a little more than internet videos and this article does include statements from the parent of one of the Seal Team member. Have no idea if her statement has been debunked.

There's links to the multiple media outlets in my link posted above, and here's another important excerpt from that article.

Quote:Shortly after Obama’s announcement, multiple media outlets identified the involvement of the SEALs in the operation, but not by naming the individuals who were a part of that team.

It was after that, on May 3, that Biden gave a speech at an event for the Atlantic Council and praised the SEALs for the operation. He did not, however, say the specific unit or call out any members by name.

So we don't know who or how those media outlets got the information.

Biden may have not mentioned the individual units but if you google Seal Team Six you will see why it is a logical deduction after he mentioned Seals.

The NY times article mentioning Seal Team 6 was on May 1st and the WaPo article naming them was on May 2nd. Both before Biden's speech.

Right, so there's no proof that Biden or anyone close to Obama leaked the information to the press. And it could be as you say, that we deduced it was a Seal Team and that Team 6 was the most likely outfit through logical deduction. And the article I posted says there was no proof the attack that killed the Seal Team member was in any way associated with Bin Laden's death.

Quote:"We do not believe the mission was compromised," Garry Reid, principal deputy assistance secretary for special operations and low-intensity conflict, told Congress in 2014. "There was no external coordination so there’s no possibility of information going up the chain and somehow going out to the Taliban."

I would have to have a lot more concrete evidence to believe the chopper downing was anything more than a lucky RPG shot.
I do however think that members of Seal Team Six were concerned about their and their families safety due to info getting out but that info could have gotten out via a variety of sources and it may not have been intentional.

Of course. But I was just pointing out that Owl's assertion that he believes Biden (or the Obama administration) got the guy killed is, as I proved, hogwash.

My only assertion is that the information was leaked. Whether or not that actually got anybody killed is speculative, not hogwash. I thought I made that pretty clear. The leaking is sufficient to be criminal. And that came from somewhere in the Obama administration.

This kind of leak is a whole lot more damaging than, say, Valorie Plame.
