Kansas-Tech tied 34 all with 12 seconds remaining. KU kicking 39 yard field goal has it blocked. Tech DB starts to return it, but laterals to a teammate. Ball is loose and recovered by KU with 2 seconds left. KU then kicks the field goal to win.

One of the strangest ends to a football game this season. FG blocked and OT was a sure thing....not.

Not final 17, TexasU snuck one TD in there, but did outscore them 24-7.

Michigan destroying ND, 45-7. Guess Harbaugh is trying to save his job.
UCLA beat Arizona State 42-32. They're starting to come on a bit and the hot seat is probably cooling off a bit for Chip Kelly.

Kansas was 6-42 over the past 4 seasons, including 2-34 in conference games. It's amazing how much difference a good coach can make.

San Jose State is now 4-4 after beating Army, 34-29, at West Point. The Black Knights, who fell to 3-5, outgained the Spartans (429-402) and had a nearly 2x advantage in time of possession. San Jose State outscored Army 16-3 in 2Q and held on by virtue of making a 2-point conversion after its 4Q TD while the Black Knights failed on both of its two 2-point tries in the final period.

Thanks for the correction. I think I was recalling (incorrectly) the TV commentator's summary. But he must have been referring to the Frogs' 17 straight points in 3Q & early 4Q that moved the score from 13-20 to 30-20.

Actually, I'm quite amazed that I caught one that you missed. Your skills in finding things on the net never cease to amaze me. And there was indeed a 17-0 run as you note, just not the final 17, as they exchanged TDs afterwards.
TexasU hasn't quite lived up to the preseason hype. I think Mensa will prove to be a far better maintainer than Bailiff was, but his second team at UH did fall back a bit from his first, and there may be a little of the same thing here.
