Gee, given that this was in response to one of your own, I think that's an exaggeration...

But, since you're in the mood, let's revisit a bit of history. Steve Logan was one of the most outspoken people trying to keep USF football out of Conference USA (even though we were promised entry upon qualification), which helped delay our entry by two years and cost us a likely bowl bid in 2002 despite going 9-2 (and 4-0 vs. CUSA opponents) because we were independent. So beating ECU that year (as well as both years we were in CUSA) was pretty sweet. Once we got the invitation to go to the Big East, all we heard was how ECU was going to beat our a$$es every time we played because you guys were so motivated by your hatred of our program. Well here we are in 2019 and our overall record against you is 9-1. And the only thing we've ever heard is that we're the bad guys, and we're the douchebags, but you guys do all the $hit talking. So maybe you can cut Ocala a little slack here.

I sure hope ECU can turn it around because they have a passionate, loyal fan base and a great stadium but they have absolutely crapped the bed since joining the American. Check out their conference wins since 2014:
