I found this to be a very interesting recount of something that most of us who have coached (either as a volunteer or for a local school or travel team) - what's the actual liability in a case where a seemingly routine coaching decision permanently injures a youth player?

I never considered either side of this. The format doesn't allow enough time to consider it more in depth, but it does cause me to think about it a little more.
