Jake also had several defensive gems that don’t show up in the stats, but I am sure that the coaches took notice.

Great to see Jake get off to a strong start.

Mostly unrelated, but have you guys heard about the new NBA rule that requires teams to disclose actual player heights (without shoes) on their rosters now? There used to be a lot of inaccuracies since the numbers were more or less self-reported. Interestingly, Jacob Evans only measured 6'4" without shoes and is now listed as such on official rosters. I would have thought he was at least 6'5" barefoot.

Lots of guys losing a few inches suddenly. Denzel Valentine has been working out in my gym and he doesn't seem 6'6-6'7. Sure enough, now listed at 6'4.

Another article that mentions Jake - in this case having to pay about $8k a month to rent a 2 bedroom apartment.

"Because his new apartment doesn’t have the space he enjoyed at his old house in Sacramento, center Willie Cauley-Stein gave his 2018 Chevy Silverado and $150,000 lake boat to his brother in rural Kansas. Robinson is relying on Uber until he finds a place to park his Porsche Panamera. Paschall and Smailagic, neither of whom have a driver’s license, have taken to walking tours of the city."

Poor guys.

I was observing nba rosters the other day and Golden State listed Jacob Evans as 6'4 and Houston listed Gary Clark at 6'6. I wonder what is up with that. They were 2 inches taller last seaon. Did they get measured with shoes off?

They often show up to college taller than they really are.

Hicks was 6’4 standing on a wet phone book.
